WASHING
Wash in cool water with like colors:
Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors. We recommend hand washing or place items inside-out in mesh wash bag designed for delicate items prior to washing on "handwash" cycle. Avoid exposing clothing to friction, rubbing or wringing.
DELICATE DETERGENT ONLY
Use DELICATE detergent. Do not bleach, avoid detergents not designed for delicate items or dry cleaning:
Non-delicate detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life. We recommend delicate detergent for elastane products and wool detergent for wool-blend clothing.
CLOSE ALL FASTENINGS
This goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry:
Avoid putting your cycling apparel in the dryer, even on low heat. This practice should be strictly avoided. The application of heat or tumble drying can greatly diminish the lifespan of your garments. Each piece of cycling apparel usually contains a substantial amount of elastane (Lycra), which becomes weakened and brittle when exposed to heat. This process not only reduces the garment's compressive abilities but also causes the fibers to break over time. Similarly, drying your garments under direct sunlight is not recommended as the UV rays can fade and deteriorate the fabric.
